We Helped to Create New Technology to Monitor Premies' Temperature

We are proud to have partnered with bioengineers at UCSF and Texas Instruments to develop an adhesive embedded flexible wireless temperature sensor for remotely and accurately monitoring temperature (and potentially other vital signs) in NICU babies. Our Co-Principal Investigator, Linda Franck, and UCSF ICN nurse, Amber Bianco, explain why this new technology is so needed in a promotional video produced by Texas Instruments. Stay tuned as we expect to begin a trial on the sensor's impact in the next few months!
