Voices for Birth Justice shines a light on people from the Bay Area and the Central Valley working to turn the tide of the premature birth epidemic in Black and Brown communities. Stories of positive change, empowerment and community resources drive this campaign, helping to ensure families have the opportunity to thrive.

Conceived by the Community Advisory Board of the UCSF California Preterm Birth Initiative in partnership with IDEO.org, Voices for Birth Justice's design and messaging reflects the thoughts, fears and hopes of over 100 parents, grandparents, teens, providers, birth workers, community advocates, and leaders representing Oakland, San Francisco, and Fresno, that participated in the creation of the campaign.
